PNC Media:
This is a re-release of the Swedish crust band Human Waste. This band was often compared to Skitsystem and sometimes even accused of stealing riffs. I can clearly see that they are influenced, but given the record a chance or two this really grows and gain integrity. D-beat mixed with slower, almost rockier riffs and always a brutally honest desperation in the three screamy voices. Given this, Human Waste really gets your attention to what they have to say. Contrary to other bands of this genre, Human Waste doesn’t scream about social misery, homelessness etc out of obligation, but because of necessity.

6/10 - "They've come to their sences" was my first thought when listening to this EP. Side A is really good, not at all as boring as their earlier releases. The vocals are a lot better then before and has a little more variation to it... Then I flipped it over and started listening to the B side. "Oh, no. They suck again", I said to myself. A huge step back for Human Waste with the song "En fot i graven". Just as mediocer and boring as I consider their earlier EP's to be... The last song comes on and the first thing that strikes me are the vocals. What's wrong with this guy? Sounds like someone's ripping out his vocal cord while he's singing. Cool! This is their sixth EP. It should be their second attack. Instead of releaseing their earlier stuff on vinyl by themselves it should have been demos. This is the development I've been waiting for from Human Waste and I'm looking forward to their next release and to see how they've developed until then. But if I know this band right their next EP is just around the corner.
