Interviews: SVENSK PUNK 26 ÅR (in swedish) Bio: Tristess started a couple of years ago in the rehearsalrooms under Charlies Kiosk in Teg, Umeå. At first we played old school swedish hardcore in the veins of Bedrövlerz and AntiCimex. No metal just hardcore. We've recorded two demotapes and played a some chaotic shows in Umeå. We got tired of the D-beat stuff and started playing some kind of swedish punkrock like Inscest Brothers, Glo and Kriminella Gitarrer. I don't know any other band who've played that kind of music since... well, since the late 70's I guess. The first Tristess record "Vad ska vi bli?" came in 2004 and is out on CMF. Tristess played some even more chaotic shows this year and we toured with the big rock stars in The International Noise Conspiracy and scared the shit out of the fashion girls and boys in the audience. No one knows what will happend to Tristess and the members of the band in the future. Maybe a new EP out next year? Maybe a tour? Who knows.
